VR Update: Prioritising User Experience

Breakroom’s upcoming redesigned VR interface removes friction and improves clarity. QR login, gesture tools, and a clean new layout make training and onboarding faster, easier, and more comfortable.

Breakroom’s VR interface is getting a major upgrade, not just in design, but in usability. The new update removes unnecessary friction, offering fast, clear access to the tools users actually need. Whether you’re running training sessions, onboarding new employees, the redesigned experience makes things faster, smoother, and more intuitive especially for first-time users.

A sneak peak of what is coming

QR Code Login

No more typing in VR. Scan a QR code with your phone and you’re in. Password login remains as a fallback, but most users won’t need it.

Quick Access

With one flick of the wrist, users can mute, open tools, view shared screens, or explore new areas. All from a user interface that stays hidden until called.

  • Add your own frequently used shortcuts
  • Choose between gesture control or classic controller use

Theatre Mode & Flexible Panels

Switch between multitasking and full-focus views:

  • Surround yourself with multiple panels
  • Or collapse everything into a large central display
  • Toggle between views at any time based on task or comfort

Gesture Controls (Optional, but Powerful)

Natural hand gestures can be used to trigger key actions. Ideal for hands-free use during training sessions. It’s optional and fully compatible with controllers.

Built for Real Work

Built around real-world enterprise use:

  • Immersive training scenarios
  • Instructor-led virtual sessions
  • Onboarding first-time users

Every decision is centred around clarity, speed, and comfort, so your team can focus on learning.
